Tracking the development of a brand new Android app

   Will There continue to be a free version after pro release or will there be only the Pro Version. I’m really in love with it and I was just curious.

   @Will, We plan on making the Pro version a separate app – and keeping a Free version available. Nothing we put in the Free version will be taken out later. We hate apps that do that… : )

   I must have been between the first who downloaded the app. very cool and easy to use. I there any way to save your searches like creating you own playlist. that is something that would really help.Omce you are listening to a stream anf you right mouse click and submit your link. how do you if it is accepted or will be added. THanks.keep up the good work.

   I was initially a little ticked that the listing of stations was static, but then I went to mine and clicked the .m3u link and it opened in Streamfurious. Nice!

   My number 1 request is support for aac+ streams, which are awesome sounding even at 32kbps (so they’d probably even play over Edge) and which the phone supports natively (I’ve played static aac+ files in the music player).

   And good job putting the great woxy.com at the top of your list of stations!

   @CARLOS No saved searches or custom playlists yet. You may want to add that to our feedback site to see what other people think.

   Re: submissions – we take a look at all of them as they come in and will update the main list periodically.

   I am a member of sky.fm….will I be able to listen to my premium stations through streamfurious in the pro version? And at what bitrate might you see it at? Also how will you be charging for the pro version? Any ideas yet? Thank you and I love this app. If I can get my sky.fm premium ch at 192k on my G1 I will be happier than a pig in that brown junk we all hate so much. lol

    @Shaun, yes we will probably support authenticated MP3 streams in the pro version, and the bitrate will depend on your connection. 192k should be no problem on 3g or wifi, or even a fast edge connection.

    how do you decide which chanels to stream..i was just listening to nyc police…..how about a way i can stream my sirius satalite…that would be great….peace

    @charles, you can use StreamFurious to stream from any publicly available MP3 stream. Sirius does not provide a free MP3 stream as far as we know.

    Ok guys, Made it here to fill the gaps in my [l]user mode comments on twitter. I see where you are going (Free & Pro versions). Some of my problems with G1 stem from RTFM after poking at an app. Sorry if I gave ya’ll the hebbiegebbies (not a real word). I am currently trying Advanced Search. It is a little different so I will let you know if I find a repeatable problem that is not self inflected. On the phone search opens browser at shoutcast, then I advance search keyword s police baltimore, type is broadband, genre empty, No results. After a try at selecting genre Spoken was best. Anyway the easy way was click scanner on one of the results then keyword search baltimore. Playing now. My question — the pro version going to list all genre that the web page has? Not a real issue if clicking on link in web page lowers overhead.

    I recently rooted my G1 and lost all my apps, this app is no longer available in the Android Market? I cant find it searching any topic. Has it been removed? Pls advise.

       @MrRuckus Try this: Market -> Applications -> Multimedia -> By popularity -> scroll down to pg 3 or 4.

       StreamFurious is not copy protected, so should be available on rooted devices.
